REACH Air Ambulance Services that was founded in the year 1987 has reached the milestone of serving over 100,000 people. The announcement was made recently by the company representatives. The air ambulance services provided by REACH combine ground and air ambulance to offer life-saving transportation. REACH has three branches namely Woman’s AirCare, Cal-Ore Life Flight and Methodist AirCare. It serves the western part of United States to include the states of Texas, Oregon, and California.
Words by the Air Ambulance Services Organization
A delighted president of REACH termed 100,000 as not just a milestone or a number but the number of lives that their air ambulance services have managed to touch. He described them as 100,000 “souls onboard.” He also said, when you count the family members of the patients, the numbers are even greater. The company attributed its immense reach to their operations that are undertaken through several air bases across the United States. Most pilots employed at REACH are believed to have transported about a few thousand patients each, enabling the air ambulance services company to reach the milestone. Vicky Spediacci who is the VP of Aviation Operations at REACH himself has clocked over 8000 hours of flight time.
A Little about the Company’s Air Ambulance Services
REACH was founded by Dr. John McDonald with a mission to serve patients at their hour of need. The organization that started out with a single chopper today operates over 9 airplanes and 17 choppers. Their air ambulance services are based out of 20 airbases spread across three states. Their air ambulance services are linked to AirMedCare Network that runs the largest air ambulance services membership program in the entire US. REACH offers complete air ambulance services and its team includes trained nurses, doctors, pilots, medics, and technicians necessary for smooth operations. The company is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Services.
