The ITIJ or International Travel and Health Insurance Journal recently announced the finalists who will be considered for Air Ambulance Provider of the Year award, which will be given out at this year’s ITIJ Industry Awards. The award is renowned among the air ambulance service industry and has been given out annually since 2004 to recognize and commend companies that lead in excellence and innovation.
Who are the Finalists This Year?
The finalists who will be considered for the prestigious award are European Air Ambulance, REVA Air Ambulance, Skyservice, and AMREF Flying Doctors. These service providers were selected through an online voting system, wherein people can vote for the nominees that they deem most worthy of the award. Last year, it was REVA Air Ambulance that bagged the coveted award. Naturally, there is a lot of excitement about the event in the air ambulance industry this year too.
The Air Ambulance Provider of the Year award is being sponsored by UC San Diego Health. It will be given out at the ITIJ Industry Awards during the International Travel and Health Insurance Conference, which takes place on November 3rd.
More Nomination Categories for Air Ambulance Service Providers
Air ambulance service providers are also getting a nomination in two other categories. The Medical Provider of the Year award will be given out to one of the nominees, which include Commercial Medical Escorts, Jackson Memorial, and Sharp HealthCare. Commercial Medical Escorts provides medical transportation via airplane for patients and has been noted for its excellent medical care service.
The International Travel and Health Insurance Journal will also be giving out the Marketing Campaign of the Year award. For this award, air ambulance providers like ER24 Global Assist and AMR Air Ambulance are among the nominees. These nominations show how the air ambulance industry is gradually gaining ground in the medical service industry in general.
