It’s that time of the year when the entire air ambulance industry is pretty excited. It’s usually towards the year end that International Travel & Health Insurance Journal (ITIJ) awards are announced. This year’s awards were launched in mid May. The award celebrates excellence and innovation in the realm of global travel and honors outstanding companies. Organizations wanting to participate in the competition are encouraged register themselves well in advance. Industry members are also encouraged to nominate other companies for their good work. This year, the grand finale will be held in Geneva.
The Final List has a Few Known Names of the Air Ambulance Industry
The list of the participating companies that made to the finals was announced on the 3rd of this month. The Editor in Chief of ITIJ congratulated the finalists and wished them luck. Companies like Star and REVA are among the finalists this year too – REVA , especially has been nominated repeatedly and even won the award previously. The complete list has been published by ITIJ on its website already. Also, it is almost time for the grand finale with slightly over three weeks remaining for the announcement of the winner.
The Award Ceremony will be Held on November 1
The grand ceremony and dinner is going to be held at Hotel President Wilson in Geneva. The three finalists in the air ambulance category this year are Air Alliance, REVA and Sarpa. The award is being sponsored by UC San Diego Health System. The awards cover a wide array of disciplines in the health sector. The editor of ITIJ has revealed that the standards of the entries this year were very high and they were excited to know the final results, which are going to be announced on November 1st of this year. For the time being, it seems all eyes are on Geneva.
